David Rohde a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, was kidnapped by the Taliban in 2008 outside Kabul. He made a brazen and widely reported escape in June, 2009. His five-part series on his captivity gained him this year’s prestigious George Polk Award for international reporting. This event is being co-sponsored by the Y and the North Jersey Chapter of the American Red Cross. It will be held
in the Carl Pfeifer Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
