New to the Swim Program and not sure what your child’s swim level is?
Bring your child to be evaluated:
Session I: Wed. 8/18 6-7pm,Tues. 8/24 5-6pm, or Thurs. 8/26, 3-4:30pm
Session II: Tues. 10/26 6:30-7:30pm,Wed. 10/27 6:30-7:30pm, or Sat. 10/30 1-2pm

*Children in current program will be evaluated during the 7th week of the session.

All classes are ½ hour with 25 minutes of instruction unless otherwise noted. One make-up lesson is available within the session. Must be scheduled with the Aquatics Department.

All swimmers with chin-length hair or longer MUST wear a bathing cap.

Polliwog
Ages 6 - 9 years
Beginner swim class for 6-9 year olds. Learn beginner skills including front
crawl, back float & elementary backstroke; develop skills to swim independently.

Guppy
Ages 6-9 years
Child must be able to swim front crawl 15 yards and elementary backstroke. Learn rotary breathing & backstroke. Begin deep water swimming.

Minnow
Ages 6-9 years
Child must be able to swim freestyle, back stroke & elementary backstroke 15 yards. Must have deep water confidence. Build endurance in all strokes to swim 25 yards; improve diving; intro to breast stroke kick & treading water..

Fish
Ages 7 and up
Child must be able to swim freestyle, back stroke & elementary backstroke 50 yards. Refine & build endurance in all strokes; learn breast stroke and standing dives.

One Hour Group Swim Classes
8 Years & Up
Family Members:
$125 (Session I), $140 (Session II)
Basic Members:
$145 (Session I), $165 (Session II)

Flying Fish
Child must be able to swim freestyle, back stroke & breast stroke 100 yards.
Refine & build endurance in all strokes; introduce butterfly, diving from the blocks & flip turns.

Swim Clinic
Child must be able to swim all strokes 100-200 yards. Refine all strokes, diving
from the blocks, & flip turns. Learn starts from the blocks.

Private/Semi-Private Swim Lessons
One-on-one swim instruction for 1/2 hour.
Family Member: $42/Lesson
Basic Member: $47/Lesson

Private Swim Lessons for children with Autism
(Ages 4-8 years)
Experienced swim instructor will work one-on-one for 30 minutes to help your child enjoy the water while learning the skills to swim independently. Time slotsavailable on Saturday afternoons.
