Placement, posture, rhythm and motor skills are developed in this fun combination class. Ballet and Tap shoes are required.
Have fun with dance music that has a great beat, Learn kicks, turns, and jumps in addition to dance technique.

This is the perfect age to start training in ballet. Children will learn basic barre exercise, ballete vocabulary, body alignment, rhythm, and level-appropriate movement.

Modern dance technique is designed to develop the mind, body and spirit and to communicate through movmement. Body conditioning, strength, coordination and flexibility are developed. Some might refer to Modern as comtemporary ballet.

If you LOVE to dance, and LOVE to perform, audition for the COMPANY!
The Pre-Professional Dance Company has a mandatory class schedule, and
required attendance at dance competitions and performances at many
community events. Participation in the company is by audition or Director’s
approval only.
Junior Company (ages 9-11)
Teen Company (ages 12-14)
Senior Company (ages 15-18)
AUDITION CLINIC: Monday,August 16th, 6:30-8:30pm
The AUDITION CLINIC is for dancers who want a “heads up” about what to
expect at auditions. The clinic will consist of a ballet class and jazz class, with a
mock audition at the end. Dancers should come dressed in a leotard and
tights. The clinic will take place in Program Room 2.
AUDITIONS:
Tuesday, August 17th, 6:00-8:00pm, ages 9-11
Wednesday,August 18th, 6:00-9:00pm, ages 12
and up
Auditions consist of a ballet class and a jazz class that
will be instructed by qualified, professional dancers, and
will take place in Gym #1. Dancers must come dressed
in a leotard and tights, with hair pulled back in a bun.
