Billy's Buddies is
an outreach
program for
children with
Down syndrome
and their families.
Its goal is
to create awareness and acceptance
of individuals with DS, while providing
their families with valuable resources
and networking opportunities.
Membership include:
- A caring, supportive parent network
- Educational speakers and workshops to
present accurate and up-to-date information
on Down syndrome
- Support for new parents
- Lending library
- Participation in the Buddy Walk of Bergen County
- Social events for families: picnics, indoor swim sessions, holiday parties
A monthly meeting on the first Sunday of each month from
3:30-5:30 including:
- Parent group -Sibling group
- Playgroup for children with Down syndrome
- Family dinner and fun
Basic family membership required
