Lee’s second book, Perfectly Imperfect, highlights the various aspects of a woman’s life as daughters, friends, mothers, sisters, and wives through each of its chapters. Some of the chapters are humorous while others are more poignant. Lee Woodruff garnered critical acclaim in her first book, In an Instant, for the compelling and humorous chronicle of her family’s journey to recovery following her husband Bob’s roadside bomb injury in Iraq. The couple has helped put a face on the serious issue of traumatic brain injury among returning Iraq war veterans.
Woodruff is currently a contributor for ABC's Good Morning America, reporting on a variety of home and family related topics.
Tickets are $10 (early purchase) and $12 (day of event). Hard-cover books will be available that evening for $20. Tickets may be purchased through the Y’s Development Office by calling 201-891-2081.
